Mark joined the Collision Advice Team after serving as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Lefler Collision and Glass Repair Centers an MSO located in Indiana. Mark brings collision industry specific experience in the areas of accounting, finance and human resources in addition to company and market valuation to his new role as our financial accounting analyst.
Prior to joining Lefler’s, Mark spent 30+ years in the natural gas industry. His experience includes the purchase, marketing and sale of natural gas, project management for the development and installation of natural gas pipelines and associated storage facilities as well as the management and financial oversight for their operation. He was integral in the development, regulatory approval, start-up and operation of four new companies.
For Collision Advice, Mark will be offering the following services:
∙ Onsite and Remote Consulting focused on finance and accounting best practices
∙ Monthly detailed financial analysis service for business owners
∙ Working with clients to set up an “industry” specific chart of Accounts
∙ Assist in implementation and training on monthly accounting adjustments such as WIP (work in process), Pre-payments, etc.
∙ Assistance and collaboration with Body shop specific management systems and accounting systems to ensure proper “mapping” and “coding”
∙ Month end closing best practices
∙ Facilitating and teaching the Collision Advice Accounting Best Practices Class
∙ Review and customization of pay plans
