Maria is a coach for Collision Advice. Maria started in the industry in 1998 as a receptionist at Body Builders Automotive in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. She has worked in almost every administrative role in the business from, CSR, Claims Rep,
Parts Coordinator, Front End Estimator, Bookkeeping/CFO, Office Manager, Human Resources and COO.
Maria worked at BBA as an employee up until late 2019 when she started her own consulting business assisting collision shops in the Chicagoland Market-area with setting up their Quickbooks & Management system integration, training their bookkeepers, responsible for closing the month-end, processing Sales Tax and Payroll submission, as well an overall review of financials on a monthly basis. Along her journey Maria came full circle in late 2021 when she became Co-Owner of Body Builders Automotive. Her tenacity for growing and helping others grow is one of her greatest strengths.

• Onsite and Remote Consulting focused on finance and accounting best practices
• Monthly detailed financial analysis service for business owners
• Working with clients to set up an “industry” specific chart of Accounts
• Assist in implementation and training on monthly accounting adjustments such as WIP (work in process),
Pre-payments, etc.
• Assistance and collaboration with Body shop specific management systems and accounting systems to
ensure proper “mapping” and “coding”
• Month end closing best practices
• Facilitating and teaching the Collision Advice Accounting Best Practices Class
• Review and customization of pay plans
